Prior to the start of the portrait, the artist discusses details of the project, such as size, color, and composition. She strongly recommends a reference image that reflects a personal expression, familiar posture, or special memory, as opposed to the traditional head and shoulder shot. An image that captures the essence of the person, unique to only him or her helps make a portrait truly special. Andie is happy to meet with you to consider the possibilities. Once the concept is decided, a 30% deposit is required.

Back in the studio, Andie proceeds with the drawing until she feels the portrait is complete. Final payment is due upon delivery. Approximate delivery time is 2-3 months.
